ROUGH DRAFT, TO BE REPLACED WITH PROPER WRITEUP

The PC I'm thinking about playing (and this might still change), is The Flea . This is a rough draft of all the ideas I had thrown together somewhat coherently, so things will probably change, especially if somebody brings up critique/suggestions. 
A genius, born to a single mother and growing up in poverty. During his teenage years, he starts to create various technological masterpieces, earning him a fair bit of money and starting his first enterprise.
He later on sells this enterprise to some big corporation, while starting a new one with a better starting budget. Here he starts to focus on robotics and AI. Quickly rising through the business world, he's soon quite rich, and his lifestyle becomes one of gratuitous spending, parties, alcohol, and so on. When his mother, no longer in poverty thanks to her son and working as a charity worker, is killed in an attack by a gang onto her soup kitchen, he decides to become more active. Just donations would not change the world any longer.
In the hidden, secret caves below his mansion, he starts working on a battlesuit, incorporating the shrinking technology he had recently thought up. After many months of working on the suit during his rare free-time, he completes the armor . After first test runs with the suit, he starts taking martial arts classes, since the suit couldn’t fit more than a single weapon. After some injuries, he creates a set of nanites, which strengthen his skin, making it act as a secondary barrier against damage. 
The suit allows him to shrink and jump multiple miles, while also making him a lot stronger. He uses a combat style focused around quick strikes and grappling.

As for complications, plot hooks, and so on:
In his secret identity, he is a busy entrepreneur, usually either working somewhere, attending a meeting, or doing some politics of his own. He wants to use the political power he gets from his wealth for good, especially when it comes to fighting poverty. Obviously, his company and its business could come up in the middle of an adventure, or involve him in one. It also means that he will need good excuses to suddenly disappear in order to fight crime.
Both as a private person and as the head of his company he is somewhat involved in politics, both on a local and national scale, earning him animosity from many he opposes.
He also has a reputation as a party-animal, both throwing and attending huge, decadent parties, not rarely lasting multiple days. His alcohol consumption may also come up as a problem.
He is involved with the 200 club in is secret identity, and with SHAC both as a wealthy and public donor, but also as a super-powered member.   
He spends most of his personal money, both of aformentioned parties, but also on personal investments, not really handling it too well. In contrast to this, he grew up in poverty, and donates a small amount of what he earns to different charities working for the poor. It is more a token amount than anything else, while on one hand he wants do good, he simply enjoys being rich too much. He tells himself that any amount helps, but deep down he too knows that what he is donating isn’t nearly enough to change anything.

This all looks good to me!

As other PCs dribble in, we can work on group stuff and interconnections.

Otherwise, when and if you are ready for The Fantastic Flea, Issue 1, let me know!

Lets go for it. A lot of backstory can be fleshed out as you are inclined, perhaps from play.

Im broadly thinking about some light SHAC! parties, and being approached by the 200 Club to look into some corruption at those parties, perhaps from a worrisome politician?

Sounds intriguing! We'd probably be seeing more of Kendrick as entrepreneur and investor, with him doing his best to avoid revealing his identity. A lot of possibility here! The parties could be at his mansion, or somewhere different, perhaps something mundane, somebody's mansion, maybe a club, or perhaps something extravagant, a Hero's private blimp/island?
As Kendrick would publically be of some importance, he'd probably do his best to show up at all of them, while also investigating, both in his identity and as the Flea. So he'd be at the same party as 2 different people, perhaps? And also doing his best to make sure the 200 club wouldn't know of him being the Flea, so he'd have to be creative there too.
