Diz,

I am intrigued, but I feel my plate may be WAY to full at the moment.   :(
Especially if some people take me up on my offer to GM a Quicky.
Maybe once the Quicky True20 intro is over.

That's fine.  I really didn't expect anyone (except maybe you) to be interested, but I figured it was worth throwing out there.  I'll leave the ad up here until the weekend, and then move it to another site.  I'll get to run it soon; it's just a matter of finding the right home for it.

Mutants and Masterminds.  A d20 (sort of), effects-based RPG, designed for Superhero role-playing.

I would be happy to run Spycraft 2.0, new World of Darkness, Wushu, or True20.  Ultimately, though, I'd prefer players to make their own characters, unless that ruins the whole point of the quicky.

I think my intent here is to get a deomnstration of the rules rather than create a real story. The character could be a skeleton with only the stats needed to play out the scene. Something along the lines of...

Scene One: Gear Selection
Scene Two: The Chase
Scene Three: Combat

Kinda like the examples posted in a game book, but more interactive.

Does it have to be a chase, or possibly another Dramatic situation?

I guess I don't really care if the mechanic is applicable to more than one situtation. The Chase rules were only for chases in v1 but apply to other stuff in v2?

Anything unique and funky about the rules that can be demonstrated would be nice, I guess. :)

ERP - or Elegant Role-Playing is a rules light free game created by Gregory Hutton. The most completed version is version 2.0, version 3 is in play testing and is incomplete at the current time. You can get a copy of the current PDF of version 2, <here>.

Characters are focused around three characteristics;
  Mastery - Physical/Strength
  Wisdom - Mental/Capacity
  Power - Emotional/Spiritual

Hey Bane,
Just a quick observation.

It seems to me that the Characteristics should be like this.
Power - Physical/Strength
Mastery - Mental/Capacity
Wisdom - Emotional/Spiritual[/b]

Sorry to nitpick.  ;)

I wouldn't mind a WFRP quicky.  I've been meaning to try it out before i actually go out and buy the books.

Gomez! You made me look it up. You made me question my sanity, because as you say - that would seem correct, but alas it is not according to the rules. But, heck, I'm easy. I say use it and abuse it.

As I mentioned, it kinda reminds me of GGS.

Sorry, getting ready for work  :( and don't have time to go way into depth, but I wanted a feeler on a Basic DnD (old Red Cover) all humanoid game. It's inspired by the fact that I just found my copy of the Gazetteer (Gaz10) 'The Orcs of Thar' book and an old Dungeon mag with an adventure in it for the fury little beasts.

Any interest in a Quick module?

Best,
