Looking to play a PC in a fantasy or sci-fi game with a dependable core group of players/characters. System somewhat flexible, but not T20 or M&M. Hoping for something that has a good mix of serious and fun.

 ;D

I'm up . . .

Not really into military style stories or ones where the PCs are always deholding to debtors and have second-hand and run down stuff.

 :(

And I'm down again.

Although The District's Episode Three is now three real-time months old and the characters are just now discussing the possibility of taking on a lucrative, all-expenses-paid mercenary contract . . . as soon as they finish a small bit of planned thievery, which looks to net them a small fortune . . . assuming they can find the right buyer for the loot . . .  8)

By the way, The District's characters - with the noted exception of the NPC Dahl - don't actually consider themselves mercenaries. Becoming bonded mercs was just the most convenient way to make their business at least quasi-legal, in the eyes of most authorities.  ;D

Any superhero games out there need/want another player? I've started to get the M&M cravings again.

First: HA!

Second: You're not the only one.

Ha! No such thing as a quickie game.

I do appreciate the need for a GM to be a player though. God I do.

If I start something new I'll let you know. I'm in the middle of starting an Iron Kingdoms game but I need that to succeed and stabilise before I take on new players. Won't be for a while I'm afraid.

I really want to play a D&D5E game.  Anyone willing to start one or already running one and have an open spot?

Humm, are you looking for a traditional D&D game?

Just looking for a 5E game.  I really want to take the new system out for a spin as a player, since I'm already starting a live chat campaign on Roll20 as DM.

Ive yet to read 5E so I shouldn't try to run it...:)

I do have some ideas for a Post Apoc type Fantasy Game built around a setting I am developing. Here is the primer

A fallen Empire is reawakening as the survivors relearn how to use Tech and Magics from old. Finding “Microbots” throughout the world Techmancers combine Magical Energies to reawaken and create Living Robots and constructs to claim lands and battle to shape the Re-emerging world.

Most people cant use the "Junk" from the old world and it lies inert. Some can use pieces in their current configuration and rarer still are those that can not only use the technology but reshape it to their needs.

Unsure on the System as we are looking at it for a CCG/TCG type APP

Also I have an idea for a Modified D6 game in a setting based on a Modern Setting cant go into to much detail yet but its a combination of 80s cartoons, Inhumans & MASK, with some Cthulhuesque Mythology mixed in.

THoughts on these two ideas?

@Gomez: Although this post is right at four months old, I thought I would ask: Are you still interested in playing rather than running?

If so, I'm looking to open a new Episode of The District, one which only shares the setting and maybe an NPC or two with its previous iterations.

UPDATE: I now have interest from one of my Episode Four players, who wishes to bring his original PC into the new Episode.
